UGC CREATION MECHANISM

 
 

 

 
  goliveTV supports the following methods for providing UGC content:  
       
   
3G video subscribers can call a predefined access number  
   
WEB users can access the service from a WEB page which automatically installs a WEB based video client which can be used for live video calls or to leave a video message  
   
MMS and SMS messages are sent to a predefined number  
   
E-mail is sent to a predefined address. Users can also upload files (video clips or pictures) as E-mail attachments  
     
     
 

MULTIMEDIA IVR FRONT END (MiVR)

 
     
  goliveTV’s MIVR front end interface includes the following feature and capabilities:  
       
   
Content repository for storing media  
   
GUI tool for designing the navigation tree, available options and links, and menu properties  
   
Calls to MIVR can be:  
     
  • Terminated by the MIVR (view clips and navigate through menus)

  • Transferred to any H.323 compliant endpoint like another video portal, video mail, or live agent 

  • Transferred to a goliveTV service

  • Disconnected

 
   
User input support mode applicable to 3G handsets (alternative to DTMF), for navigating through menus and caller input to forms.  
   
Accept standard characters as input: 0 – 9, *, #  
   
DTMF support for navigating through menus. Alternatively, video appliances can support far end camera control to navigate through menus. Proprietary signaling channels are also available, depending on the handsets.

  • Two level administration: system (global – for Mobile Operator) and service partition (per studio, media company or  site)
  • Separate set of applications, menus, administration, reporting, per service partition
 
   
Assignment of video prompts to video call events:  
     
  • Incoming call (3G subscribers to the service get a welcome clip)
  • Service unavailable clip (queue over limit set by the production manager)
  • Acknowledgement clip (Transmitted to callers that will not/did not go live)
