VBOX is Vitrage's video recording application
template enabling the capture,
storage and forwarding of user generated video content
(UGC). VBOX powers the deployment of innovative 3G/IP
video call services where UGC video plays an integral part of
the service.
VBOX can be used stand-alone or in
conjunction with other Vitrage modules to create and deploy
a wide variety of enticing 3G/IP video calling services.
Examples of services employing VBOX include video recording
of events, citizen news reporting and video blogging/vlogging,
where callers record their own vlogs and then share them
with friends in other video calling services or vlog
websites.
VBOX provides the following
core capabilities, which can be used individually or in
conjunction with one another, to provide rich video call
services utilizing user generated content:

Video Recording
3G and Internet video can be recorded. Services
utilizing VBOX can configure the amount of time users
are provided to record their content. |

Video Storage
Video recordings can be stored for later retrieval,
transmission or playback to the caller in a QuickTime
format. |

Video Playback
3G and web callers can be provided with the option
to review their recording before saving. Utilizing MiVR
they can be offered the options to delete, re-record,
save and transmit their video. Videos can also be
retrieved for viewing via a web interface. |

Video Transmission
User recorded videos can be transmitted, as needed,
to any e-mail address as a QuickTime video attachment. |
