Developing 3G and IP video calling services on the Vitrage platform is fast and easy due to the platform's unique application templates design. Application templates, as their name implies are templates ,or frameworks, for creating video services. Each template provides a unique set of core features and functionality for deploying a specific family of video calling services. When a Vitrage platform is configured, different templates can be installed and configured based on the specific requirement of the service provider.

Vitrage's application templates utilize a web-based service creation environment (SCE) that requires no programming. The easy-to-use interface enables business or marketing personnel to create and maintain even complex video services. Most templates simply require content to be loaded, application flows to be set and other service parameters defined in order to deploy video services. Application templates can be used stand-alone, or combined with other templates, like building blocks, to create wide varieties of rich, interactive 3G and IP video calling services.
