Vitrage isa highly integrated video calling
application platform for developing and deploying video
calling value added services.
Vitrage is designed to reduce the complexity
of video telephony service development, allowing operators and
service providers to focus on their core business and not
the underlying technology. A service developer can reuse readily
available application templates which can be customized by
graphical user interface and are usable without writing a
single line of code.
Developers requiring a higher degree of
control can create an application using code and the built
in platform API. This model provides the best compromise
between ease of use and degree of control.
The platform provides multiple media and
control interfaces, from RTSP streams to H.323 and SIP
endpoints. The platform can be controlled by WEB services
and interfaces with the operator OAM (Operation,
Administration & Maintenance) systems also over WEB
services.
