3G participation TV solution selected
for Italian market
UK, Newbury – May 23, 2008 – iPoint-media (AIM:IPNT), a
provider of live, interactive video applications and delivery
platforms for web, 3G mobile and media, announces the signing of
a reseller agreement with Systeam Consulting S.p.A., a leading
Italian systems integrator. Systeam Consulting will resell
iPoint-media's GOliveTV user generated content (UGC) moderation
and delivery platform in the Italian media and broadcast market.
Coinciding with this agreement, Systeam Consulting is working on
an initial project with a leading Italian broadcaster.
GOliveTV offers media and broadcast companies an innovative
solution for incorporating 3G and web callers in live
participation TV broadcasts, allowing the creation and
deployment of new interactive TV show formats. The platform also
enables the consumption, moderation, storage and playout of live
and recorded UGC to other media formats including web broadcasts
and 3G mobile services. The platform is able to receive and
process UGC in the form of audio, text and video via e-mail
attachments, SMS, MMS and live or recorded 3G video calls.
